Lindberg, an ideal song for the national holiday of Québec (Saint-Jean-Baptiste)

Written in the midst of the psychedelic period, after a trip to California, « Lindberg » is the result of a collaboration between Robert Charlebois and lyricist Claude Péloquin. The latter won the Félix-Leclerc Award for best original Canadian song in 1969. Louise Forestier’s voice skillfully blends with that of Charlebois to paint images of funky travels using a mixture of poetry and joual.
